History

Monte Cimo is a recently-founded winery, inaugurated in 2018 in Spiazzi in the municipality of Caprino Veronese, on the slopes of Monte Baldo.

The owner Francesco Chiamenti, who runs the winery, has always been fascinated by the world of wine. Together with his pediatrician father and carpenter grandfather he started experimenting with wine-making at an early age, with the grapes cultivated in a small vineyard located on their property.

After his studies in Oenology, he gained a rich experience by working at different wineries, from the biodynamic ones to those of mass production, with a precise mission: to put himself out there and create his own wine.

His wife Serena, after studying Economics and Marketing and having gained experience at a winery, decided to follow Francesco on his journey.
